Personal Consultancy
Small Scale Consultancy, Because We Believe Every Principal Needs Real Focus.

I. The Foundation
Our Principal Consultant - Clive Panton
We are led by Clive Panton, a former police accredited investigator, with operational experience in City and Rural Policing, covering some of the most affluent areas of the country. As a police officer in covering some of the most prominent urban and rural locations varying from time spent in London and the South, he left service feeling dissatisfied of how policing had become solely reactive, no longer proactively deterring threats, but engaging them as they come.
Having policed over the Rural estates and realising the lack of capability of standard policing he founded Praetorian Advisory. Clive has one set mandate: We do not wait for the threat to arrive. We mitigate it before it manifests. To carry this out effectively Praetorian Advisory is not a volume based Security Provider. We are a Small Scale Consultancy focusing on a select few Principals.

II. The Advantage of Real Focus
Never Just a Client
Most providers offer you one of two things: Mass Market, or Boots on the Ground Security. We are neither of these. Firstly we're a consultancy throughout, we don't sell what we advise and that is our core principle. Anything but is a conflict of interest. We won't sell you a new camera, or a small guard team. While we can source it for you, it is never a service we will directly provide. This is our way to show you we will only ever provide honest effective advise.
We never ship you out to a junior consultant. Every audit, every review, every client, personally handled or over viewed by Clive. This is where our service is different, his expertise provided in every case. We're small scale for a reason, because we believe once your clients are no longer personal to you, then you cannot provide for them safely. That's why we only handle a select amount of clients at one time. Personal service for Principals who require it.

III. The Technical Foundations
Defensive Data - Swiss Defense
Your data is our priority. Most Consultants will rely on mainstream data providers (Google, Microsoft 365, Dropbox). These platforms are vulnerable to broad spectrum surveillance, 'five eyes' intelligence sharing, and data breaches. For Principals, it is not only a breach of trust, but a breach of security of this happens. Your itinerary, or threat profile leaked is a risk to your safety. It's why we have clear set data policies to protect your data.
We use end-end encrypted Swiss data storage for the sensitive items, a jurisdiction renowned for its privacy. If that wasn't enough, if your data was leaked, or hacked from our providers servers it would be an unintelligible string of data. If we believe data is so sensitive we will only ever store it offline, in encrypted drives. Alongside this we mandate a no voluntary data sharing policy. We understand in the high-net worth world, risks aren't just posed by sophisticated actors, but by competitors using state resources to attempt hostile actions. That's why we will never hand over data without being compelled to, we maintain that data held and created by us is classified as material held in confidence under Police and Criminal Evidence Act Special Material procedures. Forcing state actors to go beyond usual magistrates warrants for data, and seek appeals to qualified judges instead.

IV. Rural Specialism
Specialised Safety for Rural Assets
The security of a rural perimeter is distinctively different to that of a city home. For an estate in the South West, the Cotswolds, or the Scottish Highlands, the gap between that initial threat arriving and police response is the most fearsome issue. Alarms or CCTV just document the crime, they do not prevent it.
Sometimes the biggest threat isn't outside the estates walls, it is within. With internal actors its not about turning up and ripping the place apart. The focus is a small scale, subtle approach. When we enter your estate we don't want staff to be on high alert, we want to understand the day to day reality of the property. We use recognised behavioural indicators to create a baseline, so then we can understand when something isn't quite right. We never turn up in flashy cars, or marked up vehicles, we prefer to blend in with anyone else turning up at the door. Because if your already under hostile surveillance, you don't want something spooking them into moving forward their plans.
